What’s the difference between female cats and male cats?
robertgrap838 asked:
I have a female cat, and someone once told me “No offense, but I hate female cats.” What makes them different from males (besides the obvious :))
I specifically said “besides the obvious” guys. I can see you don’t read carefully and/or ignore instructions.

Will pepper oil or garlic oil prevent cats from chewing on plants?
melw asked:
I’m wanting to buy a philodendron plant, but am afraid one of our cats will see it and try and eat it, mistaking it for her cat grass. I’m wondering if pepper oil used for cooking sprinkled on the plant will work, or, alternatively, hurt the plant. Or what about garlic oil on the plant? I know that pepper on the skin can burn, so am wondering if it could do the same on the plant. Or, is there any type of spray that can be used to prevent the cat from getting near the plant before she chews the leaves? Philodendrons are poisonous to cats, so I don’t want her to even chew on it, which is why I want to avoid bitter apple spray. Hope all this makes sense, and thanks in advance?

Can I feed my 13 week old kitten cat food that is labeled for both cats and kittens?
Annie M asked:
My 13 week old kitten won’t eat kitten food. We’ve tried wet, moist and dry. The only few brands of cat food he will eat is labeled for cats and kittens. The fat content isn’t as high as in the kitten food but I don’t know how to get him to eat the kitten food. Is this ok since it is labeled for both cats and kittens?

Any suggestions on stopping cats from running in my house when I open the door?
wondering asked:
I live on a big ranch and have 10 mousers and 4 kittens. Because of the drought I have been feeding the cats extra, but now anytime I open the door they run in and out of the house. I have closed the door (accidently) on tails and heads and I need suggestions on stopping these crazy cats before I hurt one.

How do you tell if cats are fighting or playing?
Jessie asked:
I have a 9 month old cat we have had for 7 months now, he was the only pet in the household until a few days ago when we brought home a 10 week old kitten. I introduced them slowly, but they still are chasing eachother and pinning eachother down, hissing, etc…but earlier today i walked into the room and they were laying together in the cat bed. It seems like when theyre fighting, that its mean, theyre pretty vicious with eachother, even to the point i wont put my hand near them to seperate them for fear of getting hurt, i have to spray them with water or make a loud noise and theyll stop…but then the laying together makes me think theyre getting along…is it normal for cats to behave this way? Should i keep them seperated, or let them work it out amongst themselves? Any other tips? Also, what are the odds one of them will get hurt bad when theyre acting like that?

How do I get my cats to stop pooping everywhere?
drunken_monkey1988 asked:
My cats are both female, both relatively the same age (2 weeks) apart. I don’t think that should make a difference but anyways, my cats tend to poo on the carpet or somewhere on the floor and not in the litter box. The cats know where the litter box is but they decided not to use it. How do i get them to use the litter box the whole time and stop them from pooping on the floor?
