Any suggestions on stopping cats from running in my house when I open the door?

I live on a big ranch and have 10 mousers and 4 kittens. Because of the drought I have been feeding the cats extra, but now anytime I open the door they run in and out of the house. I have closed the door (accidently) on tails and heads and I need suggestions on stopping these crazy cats before I hurt one.

my cats do that to its soo annoying. usually i just shoo them away

go to your local pet store. They offer a cat and dog repellent which is harmless to the animals and will help with your problem.

Use a squirt bottle to keep them from running out of the house. Just plain water works very well and hurts no one.

The only answer is to get a dog, either that or a spray of water!

squirt them with a spray bottle. just don’t get it in their eyes.
