How often should I feed my cats?

it’s a long story, but somehow or another i ended up with 2 cats and 4 kittens. now, there food bowl is almost always empty and i have to buy cat food every other day. i’m worried that they are eating too much, because my last cat had weight problems. is there any guidelines to follow on how often i should feed my cats or how much food i should give them? they always meow at me when their bowls are empty, so i feel obligated to feel them up.

each should be fed twice a day
and i would say about 1/3 cup each time

The person to ask is your vet. There are prescription diet foods available for cats that are better for them, and less likely to have ingredients from China that can make them sick. You also can read the food bag (or box) it always has recommendations for feeding.

2-3 times a day.
give them 1-2 Cup of food per meal period.
